Directions from Auckland (To Pahia about 250 km – about 4 hours)

From Auckland International and Domestic Airports – Follow signage to Auckland City but when you get onto the Auckland Motorway at Gillies Avenue heading north, follow the signs for North Shore / Whangarei i.e. continue north on northern motorway over Auckland Harbour Bridge.

From Auckland City (To Pahia about 230 km – about 3 hour 30 mins) Look for Victoria Street West or Fanshaw Street and follow signs for Northern Motorway and proceed over the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Continue North on State Highway 1. (You may want to stop into the BP Service Station Rest area on your left about 5 km after the Oteha Valley Road off ramp and purchase your Toll Tunnel ticket.) Continue North on State Highway 1 through Warkworth, Wellsford, and on to Whangarei. If you do not want to stop in Whangarei keep following the main road you are on through the Western part of Whangarei which will lead you to the Kamo Bypass.

Directions from Whangarei (69.9 km – about 1 hour)

Head north out of Whangarei using Kamo Bypass. Continue on SH 1. At Kawakawa State Highway 1 takes a sharp left into Kawakawa you need to continue straight ahead onto SH 11. Just keep following the road you are on for 14 – 15 Kilometres and you will arrive into Paihia.

Directions from Keri Keri (24.2 km – about 20 mins)

Head southwest on Kerikeri Rd. Till you reach the roundabout at the intersection with State Highway 10 Turn left and head south on SH 10. Look for Paihia direction signs and make a sharp left at Puketona Rd. Continue on Puketona Road till you reach a T intersection and turn right at the roundabout onto Marsden Rd.
