Paihia Matariki Festival
Celebrate Matariki in Northland with the annual art exhibition showcasing Northland Artists, exciting workshops and entertainment. Plus NEW this year Saturday and Sunday from 11.30am to 3pm there will be Matariki food at very reasonable prices and also free waka rides with Te Waka Tours where you and your whanau can learn the the history of the waka. An exhibition of fine art showcasing paintings, sculpture, glass, weaving and carving from established Artists in the Bay of Islands and Far North. Open - Sat 30th and Sunday 31st 10am - 5pm, Monday 1st 10am - 3pm. No entry free, all welcome.
